Terms of use
Updated October 2, 2026
WYGO is a tool for organizing gift exchanges with your group. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Your group runs the exchange
The organizer chooses the questions, budget, dates and rules, and invites participants. WYGO draws who gives to whom. We do not sell, purchase or deliver the gifts. Your group agrees on expenses, absences and what happens if someone does not follow through.
Use it with care
Use an email you can access and a name your group recognizes. Do not impersonate others, harass, spam, post illegal or abusive content, infringe others' rights, collect unnecessary sensitive information or organize gambling. Do not try to access anyone else's answers or results.
Accounts and invitations
An account is needed to create or join an exchange. Protect your password and email account. An invitation link or code may let someone join an open exchange: share it carefully and review the group before drawing. Minors need appropriate permission and supervision.
Drawing and starting again
A draw needs at least two participants with complete preferences and rules that allow a valid assignment. Capacity is shown in each exchange. No one gets themselves and each participant has one unique recipient. Saved results do not change on reload. If the organizer resets the draw, they must tell the group.
Availability and costs
WYGO offers free exchanges for up to 10 participants. Capacity is shown in each exchange. The service is subject to provider limits and possible outages. We cannot guarantee continuous availability, immediate email delivery or that members will fulfill their agreements. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Your information
You keep your rights to your answers and authorize their use to provide the exchange. The organizer can close or delete the exchange; deletion disables its invitation and removes its data from the active database. Avoid adding information the exchange does not need.
Tools and examples
The name wheel, name picker and homepage preview are separate from your saved exchanges. The homepage preview uses fictional names and does not create a real draw or save assignments.
Changes to the service
We may fix bugs and change features. Significant changes to these terms will appear on this page, with an updated date.
